WAYS TO REGISTER
		Online . . . Anytime beginning 8:30 am on May 6th. Quickest method. Please note a convenience fee is charged by the provider, the minimum being $2.,
( 920-9515		Telephone. . . Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, with a credit card. Create your ActiveNet account online before calling for faster, more accurate service.
		Walk In. . . Office Hours:  Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm
		Mail In. . . West Shore Rec, 704 Lisburn Road, Camp Hill, PA  17011. Complete and enclose a registration form.
		After-hours Drop Box. . . Look for a black mailbox with "WSRec" mounted at Rec Office building entrance on the back of the left column. Put your registration form and check in an envelope. The box is emptied at 8:30 am.

Helpful Hints:
-  Registrations are processed first-come, first served.
-  Online registrations receive highest priority because they can be accomplished without staff assistance.
-  Walk-in and telephone calls are given priority by the office staff, with the mail and drop box registrations processed as time permits.
-  Registrations are longer accepted by fax (beginning summer 2008).

Payment at the time of registration reserves your place in the program.

Hints in completing your registration form for mailing or dropping off:
1. Be sure all information is correct and all telephone numbers are included in the event we need to contact you about the activity. Include additional persons for the same activity from the same household on one form. Please write legibly. Better yet, use the registration form provided to type your information before printing and sending. If paying for a child, the parent information is needed, including birthdate.
2. Enclose Payment -  A personal check may be used for the activity and should be made payable to West Shore Recreation. If using a credit card, provide the number, expiration date and a signature. Cash is accepted at the office.

Other Information:

• Please Register Early! Residents of participating municipalities may register May 6th! Members of non-participating communities may sign up beginning May 13th. If a class does not have a sufficient number of participants registered one day prior to the beginning of class, it will be canceled. [Participating communities:  the Townships of Fairview, Lower Allen and Newberry;  the Boroughs of Goldsboro, Lemoyne, Lewisberry, and New Cumberland]
• Refunds - West Shore Rec will gladly issue a refund for any multi-session program for any reason as long as you contact us prior to the second class, unless stated otherwise. After the second class, no refund will be given. A five dollar administrative fee will be deducted from the refund. Refunds for one-day activities are not possible after the event has taken place. Call 920-9515 during office hours to request a refund. E-mail requests will not be accepted.
• Cancellations - West Shore Rec reserves the right to cancel any program due to insufficient registration. A full refund will be given. Online convenience fees will be refunded as a credit on account for future enrollments. Cancellations for trip must be made at least two weeks (14 days) before the trip to receive a refund unless stated otherwise. Inclement weather may prompt the rec office to cancel a program. If possible the session will be made up at another date. If in doubt call the office after 4:00 pm and select option 5.
• Confirmations - Once you sign up it is your responsibility to attend the activity. A receipt will be sent by e-mail if an e-mail address is provided.  Otherwise, no confirmation will be mailed unless you wish to provide a self-addressed, stamped envelope or pay a service fee of one dollar. You may also view your past, present and future activities online by creating an account through ActiveNet.
• Code of Conduct - Participants involved in West Shore Recreation Commission are subject to a Code of Conduct.
• Program Information - All program dates are subject to change due to circumstances beyond our control. Participants must provide their own medical insurance.
• Make-Up Dates - West Shore Rec makes every attempt to reschedule classes canceled due to inclement weather and other circumstances outside of its control. The make-up date is usually rescheduled just after the original ending date. No refunds will be given for unattended make-up classes.
• Information on Age - To be eligible for a program, a participant must be the proper age by the start or by the end of the program. All age requirements are set to benefit the participant and make instruction more consistent for the program leader. In some instances, the requirements have been set for the participant's safety.
• The discounted resident price listed in the brochure is for residents of participating communities (all townships and boroughs in the West Shore School District with the exclusion of Wormleysburg Borough). The first price is for all others.
• Any person with a disability needing special accommodations to participate should contact the rec office two weeks prior to the activity.
• Returned Checks -  Any check returned for insufficient funds will be assessed an additional amount of $20 for each check.
• E-mail Addresses - West Shore Rec treats e-mail addresses as confidential information and does not share or sell them. E-mail addresses will only be used to contact you about an activity in which you are enrolled or to provide periodic updates with new West Shore Rec information.
