PLAYZONE SUMMER DAY CAMP
PlayZone is a structured, all-day camp experience that includes fun activities, exciting field trips, refreshing swimming and much more!

Primary Zone is designed for ages K-8 (completed kindergarten) and meets at Fishing Creek Elementary. Secondary Zone includes ages 9-11 and meets daily at Crossroads Middle School. Both Primary and Secondary Zones feature organized activities, crafts, special guests, snacks and more. Each week includes off-site activities such as swimming, roller-skating and field trips to interesting locations.

O-Zone
(ages 12-14) focuses on leadership and community service projects and meets Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Daily snack, swimming, games and field trips are also included. (see special flyer below in downloads section)

X-Zone (ages 12-14) is adventure-based and meets on Tuesday and Thursday. Campers will travel to outdoor pools, the movies and adventure type experiences such as rope courses, indoor rock climbing and theme parks (schedule available in Download section)).

SUMMER BLAST

Children 6 years of age (who have completed kindergarten) through 12 years of age are invited to enjoy fun games, activities and crafts in an outdoor setting. Play typical playground games such as kickball, wiffleball, nok-hockey, capture the flag, and take part in some fun activities related to the weekly theme. The program runs Monday thru Friday, 9 am-12 noon, starting the week of June 21st. Sign up on a weekly basis or for the entire seven week program.

Youth Scholarship Program: West Shore Recreation Commission provides financial scholarships for selected recreation activities for students* who are eligible for the free or reduced price school lunch program. Please provide a recommendation from the school counselor or a copy of the letter from WSSD regarding the lunch program with the registration form. Scholarships are one-half the resident cost and are indicated with a Ð symbol. All information will be kept completely confidential.
